Up one level
Grandmothers waiting to meet us
My dress is our blanket at night
First grandmother we met
A lifetime of digging
Grandmothers are the heart of the response to AIDS
I feel guilty that I could have done something to save my daughter
I lost two daughters in one day
During the rainy season we can go days without eating
I will care for the children as long as I am alive
I worry my heart beats too fast from grief
Instead of school I cared for cattle my whole life
My roof leaks where we sleep
River water is used for drinking, bathing and washing clothes.
I no longer can dig
I cannot rest in my old age
When one of us has a cough, we all get it
We grow beans and greens
We welcome your prayers
Thank you for caring
